Diane Mantovani Principal + Owner

Diane founded Savvy Design Group in 2009. She has established herself and her firm as leaders in the St. Louis design community. Her extreme passion for design began at a very young age when she would rearrange her bedroom monthly. She has a creative eye, strong work ethic and ability to build excellent relationships. She is known for creating unique spaces for her diverse portfolio of clients.

Diane’s experience ranges from new construction design/build to commercial space planning and design to both commercial and residential remodels. She is an award-winning designer with a passion for beautiful spaces.

Diane prides herself on her ability to surround herself with the greatest people. She has built a diverse team and together they share a collaborative approach to projects focusing on the client’s specific needs and wants. With their years of experience and expertise the Savvy team can manage a project of any scope with professionalism and efficiency.

Diane is a resident of The Hill and loves urban living. She constantly finds inspiration, especially on her many travels. She inherited her love for coffee dates from her mom and is a regular at Café Dolce in her ‘hood’. She adores walks through the neighborhood, architecture, live music, her School of Rock family and art galleries. But the true loves of her life are her partner, Frankie, her family and her many close friends.

Alexis Davitt Interior Designer

Originally from the South, Alexis graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL with a degree in Journalism, concentrating in both Advertising and Print, along with a minor in Marketing. Her creative curiosity eventually led her back to school, where she is currently completing a degree in Interior Design.

As a Savvy project manager since 2022, Alexis managed a portfolio of large-scale projects overseeing all aspects of the design process. As a talented designer, Alexis brings a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and thoughtful organization to every project. With years of experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit, she’s a very valued member of the Savvy Design team. Whether she’s sourcing finishes, laying out a new kitchen, or selecting lighting or fabrics, Alexis helps bring each space to life with care and precision.

When she is not meeting with clients or creating new spaces, Alexis is designing her own home alongside her husband, Mason, and their mini Goldendoodle. She loves to travel, explore antique stores, and check out new local restaurants—and somehow still finds time to create custom jewelry in her spare moments (check out her designs in The Edit)!

Billie Powell Project Manager

Billie is a seasoned and passionate Interior Design Project Manager with over 15 years of experience in the design industry. A graduate of The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago with a degree in Interior Design, she has worn many hats throughout her career—from running showrooms to overseeing purchasing, ordering, and client service. This well-rounded background equips her to expertly manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

At Savvy, Billie is the go-to for making sure every detail of a project is handled with care. She’s great at balancing the creative side of design with the practical side of getting things done—keeping timelines on track, managing budgets, and working closely with vendors and clients. She’s all about creating spaces that look amazing and work beautifully in real life.

When she’s not in project mode, Billie is likely exploring the latest design trends, traveling in search of inspiration, or enjoying St. Louis’ vibrant food scene with her husband, family, and friends. Her love of travel often influences her work—she delights in helping clients incorporate meaningful finds from their own adventures into their homes. For Billie, it’s those personal touches that truly make a space feel like home.

Renee Culley Retail Operations Manager

Renee is the Retail Operations Manager of The Edit, Savvy’s go-to home décor shop on The Hill. With a sharp eye for style and an endless passion for design, she brings energy, creativity, and a curated touch to everything she does. Renee has a talent for helping customers “edit” their spaces with the perfect accessories, making their homes feel effortlessly pulled together and uniquely personal.

Her background in design and project management makes her a natural at understanding the details that make a big impact. Whether she’s managing inventory, leading in-store events, or assisting clients with quick Design Drop projects, Renee ensures every interaction is thoughtful, inspiring, and fun. She’s known for her warm personality, excellent communication skills, and a flair for finding just the right piece to complete a space. She loves anything with a geometric pattern and if it happens to be in a shade of green, even better!

Away from Savvy Renee’s favorite pastime is spending time with her favorite little man, her son Kade. Renee is a nature lover and finds inspiration in the outdoors. On weekends you can find her spending quality time with her family or in her craft room.

Robyn Hatton Business Manager

Robyn, Business Manager, is originally from Oklahoma. She attended the University of Pittsburgh studying computer science. Robyn joined the Savvy team in early 2023 bringing great organizational skills and a ‘can-do’ mindset. She brought her experience in analyzing, organizing and project direction from her previous position with a tribal government as the policy and procedure coordinator. She keeps all the right-brain Savvy design team on track!

Robyn has a sweet disposition and a strong passion for structure: to-do lists, procedure manuals, color-coded sticky notes and keeping everything on track. She handles all the left-brain duties that keep Savvy rolling. Whether she is paying invoices, analyzing aging reports, ordering retail merch or reviewing client billings Robyn is an organizational pro!

When she is not in the office, Robyn loves spending time with her boyfriend, Danny and their three dogs and one kitty. They are both avid readers and video-gamers, so they love quiet nights at home in their cozy home on The Hill.

Anna Klasing Design Assistant

Anna, a recent graduate from Southeast Missouri State University, joined the Savvy team in September of 2024 as a Design Assistant. A St. Louis native, Anna moved home after graduating with a bachelor's degree in interior design along with a Minor in Architectural design. Anna has a can-do attitude and a vast desire to learn more about the world of interior design.  She supports our Project Managers and Designers and always greets clients with a smile and offer of a cappuccino! 

When Anna is not creating renderings for clients, doing a layout in AutoCAD, scheduling rep visits or updating the Savvy Design library, she is either around the table completing a one-thousand-piece puzzle or curled up on the couch with a good book. Her love of musical theater makes her an avid fan of the Fabulous Fox, The Muny, and many other regional performance venues. Most of all she loves spending time with her twin sister and the whole family with close friends enthralled in a competitive game night.
